WILD DUNES BEACH IS GETTING BIGGER!
If you’ve been to Wild Dunes or Isle of Palms lately, you’ve probably noticed something BIG happening along the beach.
The 2026 Beach Renourishment Project is underway, with sand being pumped onto the shoreline to restore areas affected by erosion and create a wider, more resilient beach.
Work began this summer around Wild Dunes and Mariner’s Walk and is progressing in phases along the island.
Why does this matter to homeowners and buyers?
Our beach isn’t just beautiful—it’s one of Wild Dunes’ most valuable natural assets. A wider beach can help provide additional protection from erosion and storms while adding more beautiful beachfront for residents and visitors to enjoy.
And if you’re considering buying or selling oceanfront property, understanding what’s happening with the beach can be just as important as understanding what’s happening with property values.
I’ll be following the project and sharing updates and pictures as our shoreline changes.
Thinking about buying or selling in Wild Dunes—or simply curious what your property is worth today?
I’d love to talk.

The housing market is increasingly divided—and luxury buyers and sellers may be operating in a very different market from the one portrayed in the national headlines.

I spend several hours each day with my team contacting area residents and generating interest in my client's properties. Putting sellers and buyers together has become a large part of my business over the years. So much so that some people have called me 'The Charleston Matchmaker!'
